Homeschool Groups

Homeschooling is a popular method of educating children in Missouri - knowing the laws, requirements and where to find resources makes it a lot easier once you're on your way!

Columbia Homeschooling Resource Group
WEBSITE

Description: CHRG is an organization for mid Missouri homeschoolers. Whether you homeschool full time, part time or are simply interested in finding supplemental learning activities for your children, CHRG welcomes you. We are an inclusive group of families which welcomes many different styles of homeschooling. We are mindful and respectful that homeschoolers come from all religions, backgrounds, and cultures - therefore our focus is strictly educational and social in nature. We embrace this diversity and are bound together by the common goal of giving our children the best homeschooling experience possible. CHRG is a cooperative organization whose success requires that each family contribute to planning and implementing our activities. If our homeschool programs interest you and you want to join our community, please contact us. New members are always warmly welcomed.

Christian Fellowship Homeschoolers
WEBSITE

Description: This group is for members of Christian Fellowship Church of Columbia MO who homeschool. We can encourage one another, share our lives, get help, and plan events, and whatever else we need to talk about!

Moberly Missouri Home School Group
WEBSITE

Description: Homeschoolers group for Moberly, MO.

Kingdom Homeschoolers
WEBSITE

Description: The Kingdom Homeschoolers are a group of homeschooling families located in Callaway County. We are comprised of families who join together to share the common desire of interacting with other homeschoolers and to share resources to promote success in our homeschooling journeys. Family members represent a wide range of approach to learning and teaching styles, and our group does not endorse any specific philosophy of education. All activities are set up and organized by The Kingdom Homeschoolers families. Family participation and involvement is crucial to the group but never mandatory.

OPEN Path Network
WEBSITE

Description: The Open Path Network (OPEN for short) is to help people enable, support or encourage other people with the common goal of children having the opportunity for a home education that might be described as: un-schooling, child-led, life learning, TCS, natural learning, sometimes attachment parenting, and many more. Anyone from any location may join for discussion although I would especially like to get some members from my local area of Fulton Missouri (Columbia, Jefferson City, Kingdom City, Ashland, New Bloomfield, Millersburg, Auxvasse, Mexico, California, Tipton, Booneville, Sedalia, etc.) would be especially welcomed so we could have field trips. This is an all inclusive group meaning that there is no religion involved.

Jefferson City Secular Homeschoolers
WEBSITE

Description: Do you homeschool? Are you looking for a group that focuses on social activities? A new group is forming in Jeff City to support parents who are interested in secular homeschooling and unschooling. The goal is to provide a social and educational network for our children. We recognize that diversity is an asset and welcome people of any or no religion, as well as people of all colors, sexual orientations, genders, political beliefs and ages.

Hello! Would you please add the group entitled Mid Missouri Co=Op of Home Educators to your list of Columbia and Central Missouri home school groups? We'd really appreciate being part of your great list! This is our information below:

CHE is THE Columbia area's conservative, Christ-following homeschool
educational co-op! From Kindergarten through graduation, families help
each other to enhance the home schooling experience! Some activities
included each year are curriculum sales & swaps, play dates, special
classes and activities for different age groups. Field trips, junior high
and high school level social events and parties, including an annual
