We live in a dynamic and changing world and things change - whether it's admission price, hours or even location, various changes occur - sometimes frequently - by those offering activities and recreation in and around Columbia.
In an effort to continue to provide timely and accurate information to families in our community, I decided to streamline and consolidate the Mid-Missouri Family website into a blog format, to make it easier to manage and update, while also providing greater opportunity for interaction by way of comments and suggestions.
So in addition to frequent updates to the calendar, I'll post a few times a week - sometimes more, sometimes less - about what's coming up and review area attractions too! This change provides me greater flexibility with my schedule by effectively eliminating the weekly newsletter - at the same time, I hope this creates a different way we'll communicate, one that is timely and filled with details you want to know about.
Our newly integrated Google calendar is great - it allows me to add events, activities and more well into the future, and in a way that is no longer time consuming and cumbersome. That calendar feature will always be at the bottom of this site - so scroll down when you visit to see what's coming up in the days, weeks and even months ahead!
