Today the YouZeum and the Columbia Convention & Visitors Bureau invite you and your family to the grand opening of the Explore & More area of the YouZeum.
The festivities start at 4:00pm and will continue until 6:00pm. The Explore & More area is on the second floor of the museum.

We visited the new section and it's pretty pathetic, not much to do and overall a boring experience for my four year old. They really could have done much better on this one.
I was totally unimpressed with the new room for the little ones. The play kitchen, for example, is a great idea; yet all they had was the basic play kitchen and some plastic food and plates, cups, spoons type stuff, one shopping cart and nothing to create an interactive environment for multiple children, nor any learning opportunities. Aside from that, there were a small number of large lego type bricks, a foam domino set, mini stuffed animals, a few hats, magnetic letters and some books. Oh and a small fabric tunnel thing. That's it. Why did this room take so long to open adn why is it so inadequate?
