Summer Camps 2010

It's that time of the year again - time to think about where to register the kiddios for summer camp! This year there are alot of options (as always) and some new ones too! Below you'll find a list of summer camps and links to the website for information (or contact information).

Missouri Children's Museum : Offering a variety of camps this summer, including ROBOLAB LEGO Robotics. Campers can register for morning, afternoon or both sessions + lunch bunch. Summer camps include LEGO building, Big Thinkers, Fabulous Fun and more!

Little Gym : Once again offering uniquely themed summer camps and the option to register weekly or for just a few days! The Little Gym has a neat way they schedule - two days a week camp is in the morning, three days it's in the afternoon. Themes this year include Heros, Under the Sea, Time Travelers and more!

Camp MAC : Missouri Athletic Club (@ Wilson Fitness on Forum) offers morning and afternoon camps for kids age 5+.

TRYPS : Always fun, silly and full of drama - TRYPS has a great line-up of summer camp themes for the summer. For 2010, kids television shows!

Camp Adventure : CAMP ADVENTURE is a summer day camp operated by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department. CAMP ADVENTURE strongly emphasizes outdoor living skills and awareness of nature and the environment. Camp activities encourage use of the senses and development of curiosity.

Mizzou Sports Camps and Clinics : A huge list of summer camp and clinics offered through the University of Missouri!

Summers @ Mizzou : explore campus life while learning about different college majors and career opportunities while having Fun! Ages 12+

Creative Days Art Studio : Creative Days Art Studio has a variety of summer art camps for kids in grades K to 5. Camps are held every other week through the summer with morning and afternoon options.

Columbia Art League Summer Camp : Columbia Art League (CAL) Camps are for kids and tweens who may have a favorite kind of art, yet want to try new materials, and be around other young artists. CAL Camps provide quality art instruction that mixes skill-building with opportunities for creative freedom in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. CAL Camps take full advantage of the original works of art by local artists at Columbia Art League and other cultural resources in downtown Columbia. There is no limit to the number of camps in which children can enroll for their age groups.

Craft Studio : Is your child or teenager looking for something fun and creative to do this summer? The Craft Studio has what you need. Check out our Summer Art Camp schedule and find the right class for your budding artist.

Kindercare Summer Adventures : Back again in 2010, Kindercare offers a weekly theme for each of their summer camps.

MU Adventure Club : Summer Programs are offered throughout the summer in various Columbia elementary schools. Please call 573-884-2582 for more information.

Stephen's College Summer Riding Program : Join the thousands of Columbia community members who have been experiencing the Stephens College summer riding program since the 1940s.

School of Music : at the University of Missouri offers a variety of music camps over the summer. Programs include Piano, Band, Choir, Composition, Strings and Orchestra Chamber!

Columbia Equestrian Center : is again offering summer riding camps in Columbia.

MU College of Engineering : LEGO Robotic Camps

Camp Clover Point 4-H Camping Summer Camp : for Boone and Cooper counties 4-H. Those attending join campers from across the region to celebrate a wide variety of 4-H Projects while enjoying old camp favorites like swimming, canteens and campfire ceremonies!

Camp Hickory Hill : sustains a community, culture and medically-sound program of support for children with diabetes, using their camp environment to foster education, self-reliance, confidence, an active lifestyle and skill in the successful management of diabetes.

Wonderland Camp : provides a fun, educational camp experience for mentally and physically challenged individuals, to offer a respite from daily care giving for family members and health care workers and to provide and nurture a personal development experience for volunteers and staff.

Cub Scout Summer Camps : for boys who are cub scouts to get outside, play games, swim, hike, fish, and take great adventures.

Cub Creek Science Camp is the countries only residential summer camp with it's own private zoo. Campers can feed monkeys, walk llamas and pet kangaroo. Many unique camp activities including Jr Vet, CSI, Zip line, and more. This overnight summer camp is located in Rolla, Missouri
